Colour studies are small rough drafts of a potential larger piece, I do these to experiment with colour combinations and test composition.
For this colour study experiment I painted 3 at the same time, I did 4 sets of this little exercise , so 12 paintings all together.
This exercise was to give myself a little play time to be more expressive and not so precious about the little details. No variant is the exact same, they have mistakes, pencil marks and messy edges but they are all still beautiful and made with care.
